Biography of Tom Tucker
Tom moved to Victoria and began selling real estate with REASER REALTY GROUP, INC. in 1994. He found the change from Houston, TX to Victoria to be enjoyable and rewarding. The small town atmosphere is appealing. Trained in all areas of real estate, Tom started with residential sales and has since expanded his area of expertise to include residential leasing, property management, land, commercial and multi-family sales and commercial leasing. Notable commercial transactions include the sale of the Clegg Shrimp Company cold storage and processing facility in Port Lavaca, the site for the new International Bank of Commerce, and the sale of the Stanly School property for the Victoria Independent School District as well as the purchase of property for the new C.O. Chandler Elementary School and the sale of the 180 unit Carriage Park Apartment complex.
Tom is a 1991 graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Degree in Business Administration. He obtained his real estate license in 1993 and received his real estate brokerís license in 1996. An active member of the Victoria Board of Realtors, Tom has served on numerous committees and as Secretary/Treasurer. In 1997, he was honored as Realtor of the Year. In 2000 he purchased the company he worked for and expanded the companyís market area to Calhoun County with the purchase of a real estate sales office in Port Lavaca and also joining a national real estate franchise. In 2008, he sold both offices and after assisting the new owners in the transition, he left to open his new office; Tucker Real Estate Services. He is now concentrating on referral and past client residential transactions, commercial, multi-family and development areas of real estate. He also owns and operates Tucker Property Management, a multi-family management company that runs his portfolio of rental properties and offers lease and management service to the public.
